WHAT IS GSF?

The key objective of GSF is to spur innovation and entrepreneurship. Our larger mission is to provide informed, knowledgeable mentorship capital to the start-ups.

VISION

We seek to provide an opportunity to the best and brightest entrepreneurs to solve the most important problems for current and future generations.

FOUNDERS

GSF is a platform for the founders by the founders. We try to live by a stringent set of values. We seek these values in the entrepreneurs we work with.

A Sense of Direction

Exceptional Founders leave their footprints behind. We wish to back entrepreneurs who have a strong sense of purpose.

High Integrity & High EQ

We like founders who act like owners. Such founders are perpetually curious, independent in their thinking, and have not only high IQ but also an ability to consistently seek high-quality output.

Build a team of "Ace" Players

We believe successful founders are people magnets and attract other "Ace" players.

Innovators, Disruptors and Ideators

We like founders who change and disrupt things. They constantly move forward. They have new ideas on how to do things better. They invent the future.

Build Long Term and Sustainable Value

We believe that founders who are secure in themselves create long term and sustainable value.

Risk Takers, Apolitical, Eclectic and Quirky

Visionary founders are risk-takers who take tough decisions in an environment of ambiguity. They seek transparency and are self-confident about their idiosyncrasies.

GSF CONFERENCES

Every year GSF hosts an annual conference and 30+ mini-events. We are known for our curated, thought-provoking conferences, where we hand-pick not only the speakers but also the audience. Drawing leading investors and emerging founders at its congregations, GSF aims to create multiple platforms for honest discussions and new relationships. Our events are an excellent networking opportunity for founders, investors, and CxOs to connect with each other and to showcase India's best startups to a global investor community.

GSF Tête-à-Tête

GSF Tête-à-tête is a small, exclusive invite-only event with a carefully selected audience that includes leading names from the Indian startup ecosystem and corporate world. The idea is to create a small community of Founders, Investors and CxOs that meets regularly to indulge in an intense and candid conversation. Each event has a lead speaker who shares his/her insights and learnings to set the tone for the evening.

GSF Tech Tales and Cocktails

GSF India and the Korean Innovation Centre presents GSF Techtales & Cocktails. This evening brought together 100 leading investors and founders, cocktails, delicious food and two super panels -

Panel 1: Fundraising strategies (do's and dont's) for startups across various financing rounds.

Panel 2: Preparing companies for an IPO, managing strategic buyouts and alliances, and exploring mergers and acquisitions.

GSF Tech Tales and Cocktails

GSF India and Innov8 coworking present Techtales & Cocktails for entrepreneurs & founders to mix, mingle, and hear from leading Indian founders and angel investors. The theme of the discussion will be "The Silicon Valley Ecosystem: How do Indian startups leverage the India-US connections."

Tech Tales and Cocktails

Techtales and Cocktails is a series of intimate events with India's top founders and investors across India. We bring together entrepreneurs and founders to mix, mingle, and hear from leading Indian founders and angel investors on everything from how they built their business to raising money.

GSF Evolution

Building on the huge success of the GSF conferences in the last couple of years, the upcoming conference #GSFevolution 2015 is a digital hiatus, a platform to spur meaningful conversations and enable the formation of new networks in a relaxed environment. #GSFevolution 2015 is a curation of an experience that's high-tech yet quintessentially Bombay.

GSF #WhereDoWeGoNow

#WhereDoWeGoNow2014 deliberated on the future as an "optimistic" hiatus in the life of its high-quality participants; a hiatus that recharged and refueled bodies, minds and spirits of its extraordinary participants. GSF always believed in curating our audience and not speakers. This conference was top in the mind of thought leaders from across the world.

#WhereDoWeGoNow2014 facilitated discussion to explore: where do we go now? How do we open new doors and discover the next frontiers of collaboration in a world that is becoming increasingly connected and intertwined? #WhereDoWeGoNow conference in Bangalore is the most sought after conferences in the Indian tech startup ecosystem.

Global SuperAngels Forum

GSF plans an innovative hiatus in the calendar of Indian Startup Eco-system this spring that will feature startup pitches, keynotes, debates, and a liberal dose of entertainment, Indian style.
